Well done to all our clubs and members who took part in what was a great evening in the Lake District for the British Night Championships 2024.

Special thanks to othe organisers of this year's event, West Cumberland Orienteering Club and to Lakeland Orienteering Club and Border Liners Orienteering Club for hosting events that made for a great weekend. 

Over 300 competitors battled it out in the woodlands beside Derwentwater to be crowned the 2024 Champions.

Earlier in the day Border Liners Orienteering Club treated those that had travelled up early to a great warm up event with their Sprint around Keswick. Lakeland Orienteering Club also hosted the Cumbrian Galoppen & UKOL event!

A dry and clear evening meant that if you had chance to take your eyes off the map, the stars were out in full force.

Thanks to all of the volunteers who made the event such a great spectacle for the sport which was hosted by West Cumberland Orienteering Club and kindly sponsored by Kong Running.
