Governance Structure

The governance of British Orienteering is made up of a Board of Directors, five Committees and seven Groups. The Board of Directors has ten members and is responsible for the Governance of British Orienteering. 

The Five Committees are:

• Event Operations
• International
• Trail O

The Seven Groups are:

• Junior Competitions
• Elite Competitions
• Senior Competitions
• Major Events
• Rules
• Fixtures
• Map
